3. I would guess they're doing 'false flag' ops.

Pretending to be pro-Israeli, but being total asses about it, to turn people off of supporting Israel.

That would be a pretty effective 'stealth operation'.

4. Not really, that wouldn't suit their agenda.

They would want to catapult their own propaganda, not add to the chorus of outrage against them.

A more likely false flag strategy would be to pose as "liberal" or "progressive" while rotely repeating a few inflammatory but simple propaganda memes and vociferously vilifying anyone who spoke against them as "racist", "colonialist" and "imperialist".

5. How would that in any way help Palestine?

Or were you talking about the GOP, rather than Palestinians when you mentioned the other side?

6. The goal would be to incite hatred and violence against Israel.

That doesn't actually help Palestine at all but that's not their goal. Their goal is the destruction of Israel and they're willing to fight for it to the last Palestinian.

I'd like to think it wouldn't really make any difference, but it's part of a larger propaganda and incitement campaign, and the bloody results of their efforts are all too apparent.

12. What's interesting to me is that this is backfiring against Hamas

The Pew polls in the Arab world are showing rapidly increasing dislike of Hamas. 82% of Egyptians, for instance, now hold a negative view of Hamas. A majority of Egyptians also feel that Hamas is the most responsible for the most recent violence and holds the most responsibility for Palestinian deaths.
