Border Police officers arrested on Thursday two Palestinians who were carrying three pipe bombs, an improvised firearm and several knives.
Earlier Thursday, two girls traveling in a car in Jerusalem's At-Tur neighborhood were pelted by rocks and sustained light to moderate injuries.
The car was being driving by a family friend who was taking them home, and another girl was in the vehicle at the time. The attack is the most recent in a string of stone throwing incident in the capital.
The car also sustained light damage but the driver was unharmed in the incident. The girls were taken to Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek Medical Center by MDA paramedics. The driver and her husband said they plan to lodge a complaint with the police.
