Netanyahu and Bennett meet to confirm: Next government will be 'rightist'

During the meeting Bennett raised the possibility that the incoming government will advance Habayit Hayehudi's proposed NGO transparency bill, which the party has set as a condition for joining the coalition.

The party confirmed on Tuesday that the bill, which was brought forth by Knesset Member Ayelet Shaked, has been revised and now stipulates that any organization that seeks foreign funding and wants to get a tax exemption would have to receive authorization from both the Finance Ministry and the Knesset's Finance Committee.

At the meeting, Bennett and Netanyahu also discussed the Jewish nation-state bill, which would define Jewishness as the default nature of the state to the detriment of its democratic character, as well as a plan to promote employment in Israel's north.
