OK so you are determined to give Obama no credit. Fine, but then you can't blame him for his previous stance. That's because the activists were failures heretofore, or something. Don't the activists now have a duty to work on Rmoney? Suppose he wins?
This was posted in the "Thank you GLBT activists thread"
Fucking. Clueless.

If he wins, nothing changes for us. If Obama wins, maybe something changes.
I'll go for the maybe, but it's still a slim maybe.

(13,616 posts)5. I have no problem with people putting pressure on Obama
The problem is when that pressure is morphed into hatred that the right wing uses, and everybody shrugs. To be fair, I see a lot of more of that in types like Arriana Huffington than on here.

She really should stick to giggling at dreeeeeeeeeeeeeamy pictures of him and let the grownups discuss politics.

(2,567 posts)11. This is insanity. I'm giving Obama lots of credit.
I hope it helps out in Minnesota and Maryland.

Credit for returning to a position he abandoned years ago?
Credit for giving the middle finger to the people of the 44 states who can't legally get married?
