5. I love that photo!

I think that was at the Trans* Pride Festival last week. First one in the UK. My son and son2 (not a blood relation but BFF of my son and they chose the same last name when they first changed their id's years ago - so son2 is mine and my son is son2 to son2's parents . . . okay, that's complicated . . . suffice to say they have multiple moms!) were there and said it was fantastic.

Even more fantastic was the front page article in the local paper that pointed out that it was the first Trans* festival in the UK and it was in Brighton and was it the coolest thing ever that their city got to be first (and more about what a great time it was, etc). A pleasure to read.
