Too bad Israel defers these issues to a woo filled rabbinical court. A court that won't even recognize Jewish American marriages as proper. What do they, the ones that matter on this issue, think?

Good to see Peres support same-sex marriage. Attitudes are becoming better in regards to GLBT issues, though Israel has some weird marriage laws, that will be what anti-Israel types will focus on instead.
