Democratic candidates roll out dueling endorsements from gay rights groups

The candidates for the Democratic nomination for governor rolled out dueling endorsements Thursday from gay rights groups.
Nan Rich of Weston, former Democratic leader of the Florida Senate, was endorsed by the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council.
Charlie Crist, the former Republican governor turned independent turned Democrat, was endorsed by SAVE, the gay rights group based in Miami-Dade County.
The gay and lesbian community has become an important element of the Democratic Party’s coalition....
