The article describes the relationship between Azna and Lubra as a lesbian relationship. However, it is clear that Azna has always considered herself male and would have the surgery if it was at all possible (and affordable) where she lives. Therefore, I don't really consider their relationship that of lesbians. Asna is a transgender male in my eyes, one who is having a relationship with a woman.
