Baptist minister and commentator denounces 'ex-gay therapy'
Baptist minister and speaker Russell D. Moore has joined the growing ranks of evangelicals who no longer support so-called 'reparative therapy,' which aimed at turning LGBT people straight. At a Southern Baptist Convention conference, Moore told journalists the following:

The utopian idea if you come to Christ and if you go through our program, youre going to be immediately set free from attraction or anything youre struggling with, I dont think thats a Christian idea, Moore told journalists. Faithfulness to Christ means obedience to Christ. It does not necessarily mean that someones attractions are going to change.
