Christian Extremists Blame Gays For Hurricane Matthew

Christians panic, claim Hurricane Matthew is punishment from God for the sin of sodomy.

Andrew Bieszad, a contributor to Shoebat.com, a popular anti-gay, Christian extremist website, explains that God is sending the hurricane as “a sign of His anger” against America for tolerating homosexuality.

Bieszad notes:
The Bible clearly teaches that in the Old Testament whenever the Hebrews were very disobedient towards God, He would send punishments against them, many times in the forms of natural disasters. Christian history also recognizes the same, where God will use His creation to execute judgment against the wicked. While not all bad weather is necessarily a sign of sin, both sacred scripture and sacred tradition clearly note that it can be so. Now we know that Florida is an area that is infected with sin, especially cities such as Miami and Orlando, which are veritable dens of sodomy.

And while Bieszad and others are blaming the gays for Hurricane Mathew, other Christian extremists blame abortion and Hillary Clinton for the storm.

Couldn't be God pissed off at all the nuts worshiping Donald Trump like a God. Couldn't be vast repuke hubris. Couldn't be all the crackpot evangelists who dare to claim to know just what God is thinking and doing and why, then using that to fleece the masses. Always gotta pin it on us gay people. Sick of it. Screw you, Bieszad, and your ilk.

the blood red precincts that consistently vote Tea-publican and ignore both OT and NT commands to take in the strangers and care for the needy.

THAT would make for more interesting research than Religious whack-a-do predictions of doom for Orlando.

I would think he would have a more targeted approach, sort of a smart smite bomb. I realize I am clearly to blame for a lot of things so he can get in line.

Florida has areas infected with sin? Is not sodomy something that can be practiced between a man an a woman as well? Let loose with Dick Cheney's hurricane machine on them as well.

I love getting lectured by paragons of virtue like this guy. Are Trump, Gingrich and Giuliani going to lecture me on the virtues of marriage, too?

How will they ever get past October 11 this year?
