While I'm still pretty cynical (heck, I'm European, cynicism is genetic here,) about the 'it gets better,' it's a beautiful video, and hopefully that it shows people in uniforms with high ranks will tell someone something.

the thing i like so much about this vid is -- these are lgbtiq folk.

and that's what counts -- folks who have forged ahead with their lives -- very ordinary. reachable.
