The Jarred Carmichael special on HBO is must see

He comes out in the special and it is really quite something. It is about his family and secrets and it is at turns funny, thoughtful, serious, and hilarious. I have never seen anything quite like it.

Google says there's a comedian named Jerrod Carmichael, but I'm not familiar with him. I presume this is the same person?

He hosted SNL last night. He did a great job, he even acknowledged that no-one likely knew who he was.
