This is the video to the play on the Prop 8 trial. hosts please keep this pinned for awhile so all may view it without having to search for it.It's long, funny at times, sad at times, but the message is clear. This is what we have been fighting for!
This is what they did not want America & the world to see & for good reason.
The video does not actually start to play until 17 minutes & 32 seconds in, so let it load a little & fast forward to that time frame. Enjoy!
EDIT: VIDEO HAS BEEN UPDATED TO ADD A BUTTON TO GO TO THE START OF THE VIDEO.

(26,219 posts)1. Thank you.
Second time will be better without the tears and anger/frustration.
This was a brilliant move - and cudos to all of the actors who took the time to participate.

WELL WORTH THE WAIT.
This should be required viewing, even for the cast alone.
I got a Twitter account right before the first trial strictly for the purpose of keeping up with it on a blow-by-blow, tweet-by-tweet basis. Bois, Olsen, and AFER did a fantastic job at trial. The playwright encapsulated it perfectly. The actors did a fantastic job interpreting the book. Distilling the procedure down to a single play took absolutely nothing away.
Well done. Well done, all.
