Does the Komen scandal and the resignation of Handel today

show that as a nation we are more pro-choice than we let on? I know there are some deeply antichoice places in the country but the uproar seems to indicate, that we are still pretty pro-choice.

What do you think?

It's just that we have been ruled by the minority for about three decades now and propagandized in our media to believe what that minority wants us to believe, so it would seem that we aren't, but it's not true.

But a vocal minority makes a lot of noise decrying birth control in general and abortion particular.

in certain circumstances, and 25% anti-choice. I'll bet the 50%, if pushed, would not limit a woman's right to choose. I think the debacle with Komen will ultimately benefit the pro-choice movement as it proved, once again, that the American people do not want a clear minority to dictate our values on this issue.

In most of these polls the majority were in favor of abortion in at least some circumstances.
