Truck tailgate makes other drivers think woman is being kidnapped

http://blog.sfgate.com/hottopics/2013/09/06/truck-tailgate-makes-other-drivers-think-woman-is-being-kidnapped/

Who could’ve thought a passed out woman, tied up and held hostage in the bed of a pickup would ever cause a stir?

Apparently not Brad Kolb , the owner of Hornet Signs in Waco, who created this custom tailgate decal that was a little too real for some drivers.

“I wasn’t expecting the reactions that we got, nor was it really anything that we condone,” Kolb told TV station KWTX in Waco. “It was something we just had to put out there to see who notices it.”

Image at link. Trivializing abduction was something they just had to put out there?

I guess Mr. Kolb is a fan of Ariel Castro.

Most of the images posted had it obscured.

Work of art, would that be the defense?

It's on Facebook, it's viral, I would condemn them to misery but in different parts of the country some things play surprisingly well.

There could be a terrible accident because of this. It's illegal to ride in the back of a pickup truck in most places.

Wonder if the people who think it's clever and funny would still be amused if it was a picture of a little child?
