My opioid dream story. I heard some on opioids after surgery had vivid dreams. Here's one.

I wake up after dreaming a couple high school buddies came by to take me out drinking five days after having my left hip replaced. I think it's real to the point that I feel like I'm hungover badly when I'm just a little groggy from sleep and the hydrocodone. My walker is right there and I'm fully aware I just had my hip replaced because I have to be so careful getting up, but I still think I went out and got drunk somehow.

I'm asking myself why I did that, and why those assholes would even think of doing that? I'm still in disbelief all through getting to the bathroom and out to the end of the hall where I see my breakfast stuff from about four hours before. Then it came back to me that I had been up, had breakfast, took another couple pain pills, and went back to bed. It really floored me that for about five minutes it was real. No big deal, but what if that happened when I was having a rare freakier dream? WTF would I believe was going on then?

I've been scared of that shit ever since. I am just healing up from a right total hip. I cut myself down on the pain meds as soon as possible this time.

It's good to be careful with that stuff. I used to use anti-psychotic medication. These are abqtommy Jul 2021 #1

classified as Major Tranquilizers and I would know that they'd stopped being effective when I began having vivid and frightening dreams. It's good to have respect for that and be scared. note: valium is

I got myself down to 4 pills per day pretty soon after. Still, whenever I lay down, I’d fall asleep. No weird dreams.
