Umbre - Gritty, raw, crime drama, mob, Romanian, 3 seasons (Amazon Prime)
Very gritty. Excellent writing and acting. 1st season is especially gritty and harsh, but seasons 2&3 prove it was worthwhile hanging on.
I just finished season 3 and am in withdrawal. That's how I know for sure it was really good.
Main character is a stoic tough guy "fixer" for a local crime boss. Story revolves around him and his family.
Really good writing and acting! Highly recommend *if* you're into this genre and don't mind subtitles.
