Remarkable - latest in Michael Apted's "Up" Series, "63 up"

We got a free 7 day trial to BritBox (via Amazon Prime) to watch the latest of the "Up" series, "63 up"

Here is information about the series - being around the same age as the participants, it is incredibly poignant and moving to watch - especially now that we've seen the people in the movie go from 7 years old to 63.

Can't recommend it highly enough - simply wonderful - and the 63 episode we found particularly moving.

I've been following this series for so long.

Sadly, there will likely be no 70 Up with Michael Apted's recent death.

be a pretty heavy watch. A few of the characters are really struggling with issues - but in general, it is delightful to see so many of them do well despite challenging youth times.

We've also watched them all. I do wish he would have started with an even more diverse set of children.

that I otherwise can't see.

I bought the CDs of the series through 56 Up when it came out, and I just don't understand why the latest installment hasn't been available here. It has been fascinating to watch them grow up an move through life.

Michael Apted, who directed all but the first installment, died in January. Even before, it was not clear if there would be a 70 Up or not. I hope so.

It's Reality TV if Reality TV were real.
