found an old pbs fave on amazon- lovejoy.

hubs and i loved that show, and it was shut up kids, our show is on teevee.
bumped into it on prime, just watched the 1st episode, and who is the very attractive supportive character, lady jane?
phyllis logan, aka mrs hughes.
she is so damn cute here. eccentric rich lady designer and antiques buff to ian mcshane's shady genius.

this will be fun.

I am already hooked. So easy, so likable, so uncomplicated. Nice to hear Ian McShane is still working. Thanks again for making my day better.

we went to the library weekly and they could get tapes watch that were 'homechool tv'
he took every one in that series out at least 3 times.

i still remember the one about 'town gas' and the chemistry of color.
that's the same stuff as coal ash. but we dont bother to use it. f'ing pet peeve.

but he has no idea how different it would have been for him. pretty sure he is aspie. there was nothing for him back then.
he is pretty typical of homeschoolers, tho. steps up to the plate, gobbles up information, thinks w/o thinking.

phd in theoretical math. he thinks public school would have gotten his weird ass there....

13. One of my favorite TV series for decades. Wish Amazon Prime had more than just the 1st season.

You have to get the later seasons from Acorn TV, but they do have a week-long free trial.
