But it isn't his traditional broad comedy. It's more of a dramedy. I liked it a lot.

The only truly amusing scene in the first one was Eric Idle trapped in a tower with a bunch of lecherous nuns-to-be.

What's supposed to be funny about a torso gushing blood and claiming he's about to win the battle? Gross.

I adored the TV shows. Some of the skits fell flat, but some were brilliant and funny.

Carl's (S.Z. Sakall) friends are excited to be on there way to the U.S. and have resolved to speak only English:

Mr. Leuchtag: Liebchen - sweetness heart, what watch is it?

Mrs. Leuchtag: Ten watch.

Mr. Leuchtag: Such watch!

Carl: Hm. You will get along beautiful in America, mm-hmm.

Of course it helps to know that "uhr" is colloquial German for both the time of day and the wristwatch.

I also don't get Eugene Levy. The most unfunny funny guy ever. Or wait, that would be Bob Hope.

Every time I tried to watch those I felt like...

... I don't get it.

I thought the original Ghostbusters was funny.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are funny in The Other Guys.

I don't like "Elf."

I like Monty Python.
