The Ricardos on Prime

Is it just my teevee or was it filmed in sepia? It’s so dull looking and dark, there is hardly any color except for Lucy’s soft red hair.

It's not in sepia. The colors are as good as they could be. Yeah, some scenes take place where there is less light, but I'm not seeing a problem.

I was totally disappointed and I was so looking forward to watching this on Prime. I didn't like it all.

I'm interested in bif's (Mark's) review of this movie.

It made me think of my childhood; the declining interest in Lucille Ball's shows after I Love Lucy and my instant and joyous love for the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

I though Kidman and Bardem did the best they could but Lucy and Desi are so ingrained in my memory that it's hard to dislodge them. Lucy and Desi were vibrant and alive on our little black and white tv but this show shows their conflicts and struggles in mostly darkish nightime settings.
