"The Fairy" -- charming, funny and delightful French film

Released in 2011 and available on DVD from Netflix.

What I really loved about this film is how fresh the casting is. No mega-stars or sex symbols -- just honest-looking comedians doing what they do best. I thought the directing style is reminiscent of early Blake Edwards (The Pink Panther). This is very fun to watch.

after that.

It's very interesting from that standpoint of the French Humor. But, it does get a little weirder at the end of it.

Still it's a fascinating watch but you have to be in an "Anything Goes!" Mood......to value it.

It's quite something!

Thanks for the REC....Good to stretch our minds.

Your description is spot on. I'm not sure there was a deeper meaning to it, other than just being amusing.

It's been a long time since a comedy got belly laughs out of me. The Fairy is just outrageously funny.

Actually made by Belgians, even though the setting is in France. The same group of actors also made Rumba (2008) and
L'Iceberg (2005).
