Hit and Miss

Here's one of the more unusual mini series you will encounter. A transsexual* hitman/woman enherits a ready-made family while she continues to ply her trade. One of the children is a boy she fathered with her former lover who has died of cancer.

It's a six part series with a cliffhanger ending. Wiki says that they are still negotiating about a second season.

This is a very low key series. I think they've done a good job with it. Give it a try. Graphic warning: there is transgender (prosthesis) nudity.

*transsexual is the term they use in the series, so don't chastise me.

A different slant on an old subject of the Hit man.

What if they removed the transgender element, would it work? What if they removed the hitman element? I decided it would work removing either of those elements, but it would remove layers of complexity, and in the end decided it was a good choice to leave both of them.

But she reigned it in and did a beautiful, subtle job.
