Anyone seen the series "The Bates Motel"
with Vera Farmiga?
I started watching it and it's ok. The writing's a little stilted and I'm kind of disappointed it's set in a modern setting, but I have to say I'm a little hooked.

I'm not sure what it is. I've only seen two episodes, but, I'm hooked.

I missed it last year but I'm just about caught up by watching back to back episodes this weekend. I'm hooked.

(13,259 posts)5. I watched the whole first season in total fascination, the whole time asking myself
WHY? Everything about it should make it something I would never watch, yet there I was watching obsessively.

I ran out of other things to watch so I succumbed. This is not something I would normally watch, but the portrait of a dysfunctional family is fascinating.
