O.J. : Made in America
This three-disc documentary from 2016 is on Netflix now and we just finished all three discs. It is really good, and not only because it discusses race issues from those times in Los Angeles and how it affected the trial. It also shows the rise and fall of a narcissistic personality who could charm and manipulate everyone around him. He sought to create and control his own reality, just like a certain President I could mention. As we heard his answers, we kept saying to each other, "just like Trump!".
In the last part of the doc, someone interviews O.J. and asks very pointed questions about the murder and the trial. He dances around and around, talking fast, and you get the impression that he could weasel out of anything. Played all the angles. Acted like he was now a committed Christian, when in reality he was doing drugs and hanging out in strip clubs. Well he's in prison now. He had it all and he blew it.
Very well done documentary!
