1. I avoided it for a long time

Then decided to see what all the hoopla was about. Loved it. It's held up very well over all the seasons, but I think it's nearing the end.

2. I've watched it since season one (mild spoiler ahead)

The show, in my opinion, has had several off seasons but overall has been great. I would have preferred several characters to have been written differently - especially Gabrielle - who started season one as a sexy siren but sort of devolved into a Lucy Ricardo-type relationship with Carlos.
