Does anyone have Roku?

I tried to watch a movie last night but it keeps telling me "No Ethernet cable detected." I went on their website and disconnected the box for a few minutes then plugged it back in...still get the same message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My Roku is connected via Ethernet as well, and I had the same problem till Comcast replaced my modem.

Go to Roku home screen/settings/network & choose wired or wireless. If you use wireless you will need to enter your network key(password). If it is set for ethernet cable you need to have a cable plugged in & connected to your router. Was it working OK before last night?

Thanks Lydia and LibinMo! My neighbor, who bought and set up my Roku came over and fixed it. Turned out, there was a blip (which I didn't even notice) and it needed to be reset. And I found out I'm "wireless," not "wired," like I thought, because of the wires coming out of the box.

I am extremely technologically challenged so I just muddle through most of the time.

Thanks again!
