MSNBC
So, we've done the cutting the cable thing, can get territorial stations on antenna, have Netflix, prime etc.
Using Apple TV to stream. How can I watch MSNBC besides YouTube, which is rarely current. I have the MSNBC app, but, it keeps telling me I need a tv provider for it to work. I have net only. If I had a tv provider I wouldn't need to stream MSNBC... any ideas?

(7,437 posts)but you'll have to pay for the service. It's way cheaper than keeping cable. Services like Sling and Pluto may have MSNBC live.

We enjoy Hulu Plus. We actually use it more than Netflix or Prime.

(24,790 posts)Very easy to subscribe to and listen. They are usually up shortly after the broadcast. I prefer them - not tethered to a chair. Can walk around and do chores while listening.

(14,559 posts)It will have various levels of cost, from free to $10 (i think) a month. I anticipate it will have access to MSNBC as part of the package. At least the tease indicates so.

(34,139 posts)Live broadcast. Blue carries most of the standard basic cable channels for $25 and the News addon is $5 a month. I get it onto my TV with my Roku stick.
