More testing tomorrow

Scheduled for an MRCP (an MRI that looks at the liver and pancreas) and blood work to look for cancer markers in those organs. I don't know much about this - only that there is a concern that abdominal pain without obvious cause apparently makes doctors nervous in cancer survivors. No stress there, right? LOL!

Prefer to think its just indigestion at this point. I recall back in the 80s, being shipped off to the ER with a possible ruptured appendix. While there, I farted, felt human again, so they sent me home. Yes, indeed I paid $150 to fart in the ER. Hopefully this week's story will make as fond a memory as that one.

Thoughts and well wishes greatly appreciated. I am SO ready to get beyond all of this scary talk from doctors and just live my life, knowing that each and every one of you understand that from which I speak.

A fart in honor is PERFECT. Amending to thoughts, well wishes, and if you can muster it - blast one (preferrably outside, and down wind).

Thanks for the support.

Nurse from the doctor's office called me this morning. MRI was "abnormal" and some tumor marker came back positive (could be false positive) so now I have to go in a few weeks and have a tube stuck down my throat so that they can take pictures and do biopsies.

Just when the weather is getting pretty - and now mentally dealing with possibilities all over again.

Meh. Not going to let this get to me. Not even going to think about it until the new test is over.

I'll call the city PD this weekend and see what strains they have confiscated this week.
