I'm loads better, but I'm hungry.

All the time. Thanks to seroquel. I eat a meal and I'm hungry in an hour. Which is just hilarious because I used to have a lack of appetite when I was B-12 deficient. At that point I was wanting to be hungry...

Otherwise it regulates my sleep and I don't notice extreme highs or lows, so that's good...

Did I mention that I'm hungry?

It's been a while since I looked into it, but I seem to recall that it has something to do with dopamine inhibitors making the brain think the body's blood sugar is too low. IIRC, the receptors that give the brain a sense of blood glucose levels are mediated by dopamine.

I was on a long term trial of an atypical antipsychotic and I was hungry the whole time, even when I had just eaten. It led to significant weight gain that I'm still working on reversing.

I was over the moon as far as mood was concerned, but it came at a heavy price.

Almonds and raisins mixed is a good snack, and sunflower seeds with the shells is a good way to go too.

I have a feeling that exercise will have to be forced in somehow though. Maybe go up and down 6 flights of stairs a few times everyday, with the five pound weights I have...

Frequent food that has high density nutrients. I was trying a different antidepressant that made me hungry. I just couldn't stand it.

like celery, carrots, plain popcorn, that kind of thing. I was never good at not eating when I was hungry so had to get good at having a supply of stuff I could eat without stressing.

I don't constantly read dieting books like Bridget Jones, so I'm a bit clueless on some foods. Mainly because all this time, I've been trying to gain weight, since depression/b-12 deficiency made me lose my appetite for so many years.

but they aren't low calorie. If you are concerned about gaining too much weight, that's something you might want to know. Depression wiped out my appetite, too, but at that point I had been reading diet books for many years just like Bridget Jones and I could probably give you a pretty accurate count of any snack you name. lol

Hunger is controlled by seretonin levels in your stomach. Some anti-depressants mess with those levels and you're incapable of feeling "full".
