I have lost 50 pounds, ask me how. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm kidding I'm not about to sell you a bunch of Herbal life lol
I did that once back in the nineties, I sucked at it. let's not talk about it.

I've lost 50 pounds as of today.

The amazing thing is, I know that I'm making all the right decisions and I'm not just losing weight because I'm doing some sort of fad diet.

This weight loss feels like I'm resetting my body back to the way it was always supposed to be if I had NEVER Consumed manufactured artificial chemicals, That our government calls "Safe for human consumption"

I cannot explain the how, the why, I don't know why I figured this out. However, March 2022, I had this realization, Of what is, and what is not supposed to go in my body for me to be healthy.
The first step was I stopped using the microwave. I lost 24 months in March. Crazy Right🤷🏾‍♀️

Next step, making a decision to eat foods with real ingredients from nature.
Nature made is better than Human made
I wasn't trying to lose weight, However when I realized I was losing weight, it felt like confirmation that I was on the right track, FINALLY!
Previously, the so called "healthy food choices" I was making, Was actually hindering my weight loss progress not helping it.

I've never been prone to eating a lot of junk food, I've done my best to eat healthy organic food but I didn't realize is that, in a country that allows the food industry to decide what additives it puts in our food, I didn't realize how much those adjectives made so called "healthy food" the most unhealthiest of all foods.

Most of the so called healthy food, we should not be eating we should avoid it just like we should avoid a McDonald's, or oreo cookies. OK well eat oreo cookies in moderation I mean they are yummy lol.

At least when you're eating an oreo cookie, you are under no mistaken impression that you are making an unhealthy food choice. My grievance is with health food companies, that put themselves out there as if they're the better alternative to say eating at McDonald's. And turns out their food doesn't help take the weight off either. I don't believe these companies do this to try to be malicious, I believe they honestly think the attitudes that they are using are not hindering progress, Because they are regarded as "generally safe for human consumption"

I eat fruits and vegetables and drink water, predominantly.
And any foreign chemicals I take into my body are in 100% moderation. In this country it's nearly impossible to eliminate all the foreign ingredients. However, just like with high fructose corn syrup, the only way to really moderate all the foreign additives is to endeavor to completely eliminate them from your diet, and then you may get some get some, but not as much as before.

Funny thing is the moment I stopped consuming these chemicals, and started eating foods with ingredients I could spell lol. I begin shedding weight like crazy.

I'm not telling anyone what to do or how to live, life is choice driven.
I'm just letting you guys know what's been working for me.

Maybe if you're someone who Has been living a healthy life, however still not getting the results you were hoping for. Perhaps consider eliminating all foreign chemicals from your diet for 30 days, or a week, And see what happens. 🤷🏾‍♀️

As I said I do my best to only consume artificial chemical-free food.
And for me so far the results have been, I have lost 50 pounds since this time last year.

I've been wanting to lose 50 pounds since 2010. And I would drop some weight and gain it all back every time.

This time feels different, this time feels like I'm resetting my body to the way it should have been without all the chemicals I was putting into it.

I'm not trying to be preachy, if this information helps somebody wonderful.

If you read this and you think wow she's completely nuts, that's OK too.
I'm living my best life no matter what.

Hope you're having a great day
💜

The photo I included shows my weight in December, It was not my highest weight of 2021 my highest weight was 218 pounds. So I was slowly losing common however my weight loss did not kick in to overdraft until March of 2022. I lost 24 pounds in the month of March I eliminated cooking with the microwave, and I started drinking a hell of a lot more water, and I stopped drinking Juices, which was my main go to, if it wasn't water. I thought drinking Apple juice with no added sugar was OK. However once I eliminated that I started losing weight.

I want to say, this is not a struggle for me I'm not starving myself I eat a lot all the time actually. And if this feels like something you want to do but it would be difficult to do. Don't do it. If you read what I said and you thought well that sounds really hard it might be difficult for you. And that's OK. We are all in different locations on our journey.

I hope this helps somebody.

I did it by not eating. Pancreatitis can make eating not worth the pain and nausea. I’ve managed to keep it off, thank goodness, by not eating 3 meals a day. 2 seems like enough.

My knees appreciate it.

We're supposed to eat when we feel like eating.
Sometimes I eat 1 meal A-day, sometimes I feel like having 3.

I have to Google exactly what pancreatitis is.

I hope it's curable, and you're feeling better

long time vegetarian, but you can eat an unhealthy veggie diet....easily...). Eating much more natural foods, and cut WAY back on alcohol due to Afib. Not sure I would have otherwise. But yeah, the weight comes off pretty effortlessly...

We keep getting these people telling us oh you've got to do this and you'll lose weight or do this special plan and you'll lose weight

And at the end of the day if you just eat fruits and vegetables and drink water and eat when you feel like it
You can lose tons of weight, Without trying.

Or without even exercising and I'm a group fitness instructor. Before the pandemic I was teaching about 10 classes a week. I was not losing weight I was lucky to maintain where I was

I am totally on board with your methods. Like you said, it’s dang near impossible to cut out all the additives and chemicals in our food supply. What you are doing makes a ton of sense. You look wonderful!

In addition to weight gain, I really believe additives such as hormones in meat cause cancer. I think that’s how I got breast cancer 15 years ago. (Thankfully, all cured, minus a breast)

Eating mostly fruits, vegetables, and drinking water is the way to go! It’s hard at first but after a while you don’t want that crappy junk food any more. I eat very little meat now. We certainly don’t need meat 3x a day! Lol. Oreos have always been my downfall too.

Keep up the good work!

Yeah my weakness is golden oreos, I've had to stay away from them for a few decades
I'm ashamed to admit, a package of Golden oreos does not live very long next to me.🤣

And so true, most people would call how we eat a restrictive diet. However when you understand why you're doing it and it's for your health not necessarily for weight loss. It's not restrictive at all it's extremely freeing.

I have a closet full of evening dresses that I can finally fit again. I had outgrown them but I couldn't let them go because when I bought them I loved the dresses.

And now I have all these beautiful gowns some of them still with the tags on that I bought thinking I'll lose weight and get into this dress this will be my motivation.

Now my motivation is just, I am curious to know where my body will reset to, as I stay on this path.

It's OK you couldn't have known lemon is my weakness at 1

Also I'm just kidding I found some healthy lemon cookies from mom's market that I really enjoy.

And I firmly believe that if you're going to eat cookies. You really should only eat cookies that you made.

You know put some work into it if you're going to eat junk food lol

I'm very fortunate I have a mom's market in my neighborhood.

And even in shopping at a 100% organic store there's probably only 10 items that I would put on my regular menu as edible. Is not counting all the fresh fruits and vegetables of course.

I'm talking about the food that's in packages.

I'm happy that I have been able to find some crackers they aren't filled with a bunch of foreign substances and they actually taste good

And I found some lemon cookies that they share they're made with all natural ingredients so when I want junk food I can have it.

Keep me posted on if you notice any major changes when your changes when you endeavor to cut out unnecessary artificial food additives from your diet. I would like to know how this works for other people.

Ive struggled with my weight especially the past few years with COVID. Why, well I wasn't going to be one of these people with no regard for others health and go to the gym. So i would just go on walks with my dog, but even then, people would still be in public with no masks on so I had to go to places that didn't have others around. In January 2021 I got COVID and was hospitalized for 3 weeks, Thank goodness I was vaccinated because i probably would have died. But I have been recently diagnosed with Long Covid so I have like no energy. Im tired all the time and so its just hard. I feel better about being in public now as long as I have a good N95 mask, but im still very uncomfortable about going to the gym with my boy friend. Any way this has inspired me to restart my journey

And if there's anything I can do to help I'm happy to do that as well.

I ended up getting sick during the pandemic not with covid cowhat's covid, but being severely anemic I ended up fainting several times in my house because this is TMII had 3 monthly cycles in a 30 day

A-day before a 3rd period started, I became very faint in my house and was just repeatedly fainting had to go to the ER get a blood transfusion of course really freaked out about being in the hospital during covid without this was right before the vaccine came out.

And then I ended up meeting a surgery to solve the issue and then recovering from all of that I got up to 218 pounds. And I was formally a fitness instructor who wasn't no longer teaching classes and had no energy to teach anything or anyone.

I will say this though the weight that I have lost has just been from changing my food, I haven't actually started working out like I used to.

I did recently get a yoga contract where I'm teaching yoga 4 days a week now. But it's at a luxury hotel so it's hit-or-miss if people show up and I actually teach.

I am beginning to ride my bike more and going swimming so I know my energy levels have been improving

I used to wake up eat and literally go right back to sleep the joys of being anemic and out of work

I sincerely mean it keep me posted on your journey OK

Sending Love and Health to you

Human consumption, in moderation.

After I got the feeling to stop using the microwave, I went googl in to see if my feelings were correct this video is what I found.

There's literally only 2 videos on all of YouTube they talk about not using a microwave.

Crazy right

I lost 60 pounds back in 2006- 2007 with Weight Watchers, and for the most part have kept it off

Maybe 8 years ago I stopped keeping track and slowly picked up 20 pounds. Then my daughter set her wedding date so I went back to meetings and took it off in 6 months.

During Covid, I managed to drop more, then here I am, 18 months later with an extra 12 pounds. So back I went to WW & I'm 5 pounds down 1 month later. No wine and less eating out helped too

WW is so easy now - there is a long long list of zero point food and some of them are quite surprising. I have found it quite easy to have days with maybe only 2 or 3 points.

Like you I went to mostly whole fresh food. I do use my microwave for: steel cut oatmeal, popcorn (normal old fashioned kernels in my fabulous silicone popper)the occasional frozen vegetable and reheating my own home made leftovers.

Eating this way made me realize why folks with low incomes can't lose weight - eating like this is more expensive and takes time and planning. Folks working long hours at low paying jobs do not have the time or money to do these things, so they eat a lot of fast food, high fat & high carb foods. Also, many live in food deserts where convenient stores are the only option and fresh food is more expensive; it is unfortunate especially since they are going to be more likely to suffer from diabetes, heart issues, joint issues from that weight.

Again, congratulations!
