Ancestry Gives Free Access to Irish Records through St. Patrick's Day.

I've been rummaging through the baptismal records and the occasional item from the Emigrant Savings Bank. I've found nothing conclusive yet, though the level of detail is intriguing here and there. May you have better luck!

Not that there is a lot to miss as you point out.

Did you check that census I posted in Irish Affairs? It had some names of relatives that my husband/brother-in-law knew -- like the name of their grandmother who lived to be 102 years of age -- Honor Kennedy was her name.
