I have a third great-grandfather who, depending upon the census date, was born in Ireland, Scotland, or South Carolina. Driving me nuts trying to pin him down.

I've been digging around for a great-great-great-grandfather to whom I've only found references in two places: my great-great-grandmother's marriage record and her death certificate. There are possible clues to his background and death year on FindMyPast.
