My microwave is spotless!...

because it's brand new. Old one started doing weird things and finally gave up. I went to several stores and found mostly empty shelves or a ton of air fryers and toaster ovens. Finally found ONE in a torn, beat up box that was the only non dorm sized microwave. Yeah, yeah, there's a shortage. And my husband pointed out that kids didn't go off to college so that's why the tiny versions are still available. So we got the behemoth and he seems okay.

Has a bunch of settings but we plan to use Start/Stop/Timer. I tried the reheat setting but it just went on and on.

Cheers to one clean appliance in the kitchen! I'm about to clean the stove top but it's hopeless...

Don't you think the food is going to taste funny if the appliance is too clean? Scrivener7 May 2021 #1

I found using citrusolve on my oven top to be the best yet. Spray it on, let it sit, start mopping diane in sf May 2021 #4

You know how you season a wok or a cast iron pot or pan? I did that to my oven.

up dissolved grease. I was able to use paper towels. No scrubbing, scratching, or toxic fumes.

some stuff is just baked on. I can clean it every day and other people will splatter on it and then bake something making the goo stick. I keep telling them one day the stove will catch on fire. I don't think it's true but I'd like to scare them into wiping it down after use.
