Cold rain pouring down out there; glad I had backup plans to barbecuing.
Starting off with sweet chile hummus on garlic chive crackers and a tossed green salad that has scallion, red and yellow pepper, olives, Swiss cheese, cherry tomatoes, and spicy honey mustard dressing.
Coming up will be a stuffed cabbage roll in tomato sauce from the Polish deli.
And finally, for dessert, hot tea and Black Forest fruit tart with whipped cream.

(17,441 posts)The ribs are from the little store butcher and have a lot of meat. They are slow cooking in the oven with some sweet potatoes. We haven't decided on the rest yet.
FLFC's nose is twitching and he is talking to me as I type. He is taking treats and setting them on the floor. He must be holding out for the good stuff.
