Shrimp, mango, and avocado salad. Lettuce is romaine and iceberg mixed. Dressing is a bit on the hot side.

Dessert is a vanilla rice pudding with cherries.

1. Simple grilling

Hot dogs and cheeseburgers.

Corn on the cob.

Big mixed greens salad.

Ice cream cones for dessert.

2. Basic Americana

Ribeye
green beans (fresh! no cans in my house)
mashed sweet potato

Later desert will be an amaretto sundae; vanilla ice cream with a heavy sprinkling of toasted almonds and a splash of amaretto.

3. Pork chop, potatoes, onions, greens, beets

But at least no broccoli tonight!

Thanks for the ginger tip. I tried it today. Inconclusive. Lemon juice seems about the same to me so far. Maybe I'll combine the two!
