Whatever Al has, I've caught it. My head is all stuffy, I have a cough and a sore throat. Al's headed out now for a Covid test. So, I'll know in a couple of hours.

We found out that the person who exposed him has a breakthrough case. She's fully vaccinated, and she did not know she was sick until about a week after Al spent time with her at the event at the Legion. To be honest, a LOT of those American Legion folk (here in town) are Thumpers, anti-vax and anti-mask. When I heard that Al had been exposed, I was very stressed out that he would be maskless among them. I expected to hear that this woman was un-vaxed and that she knew she had been exposed and was out-and-about anyway. I'm thankful that this is not the case.

Though, I suppose, when you've been exposed, the details are almost irrelevant. At this point, I blame Al. Until America is 85% to 95% vaccinated, none of us have any business being anywhere w/o a mask. But once again, no point in be-moaning something that can't be changed now.

My brother and I are having a couple Ginger Golds cut into slices. Sliced creamy Havarti and roasted red pepper brown rice crackers.

MissMillie, will you please keep us updated when Al gets the test results? I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you two. Will you post back on this thread?
