Can you get toffee residue off a pot and eat it?

Sure, I know you can soak it in hot water, boil water in it etc.

But is there a trick that will allow it to "crack off", and let you eat most of it?

I have it in the freezer now, going to give that a try...

There were little sections that would pop right off, others wouldn't budge.

Givening it a good soaking now.
