5. Forty years now I've been making and enjoying this soup.

I've known it as "peel-a-pound" soup all that time. My modifications include adding red cabbage to the green cabbage, cauliflower and mushrooms to the mix. No meat, though. I suggest topping off your bowl with a dusting of grated Parmesan cheese.

7. I am back to homemade soup as a hot meal

Mainly curried chicken vegetable, leaving out any pasta, so it is low carb.

It is finally cold enough to eat soup without breaking out in a sweat lol
