Wanted to make Thai chicken salad BUT NO LIMES and NO CAR to get one. So instead it will be Waldorf Salad.
Hey, look at the bright side: it's easier to make and gives me more time to garden.
I cooked two chicken breasts in the slow cooker yesterday, and are they ever tender.
Toasted raisin bread to go with the salad.
Mango mochi and cold Earl Grey tea for dessert.

smoothie: papaya and banana, soy milk.
overall just plain ol road food, unsavory, low nutrition, caloric.
Lightly smoked salmon on the grill (Ducktrap/Aldi)
Oven roasted potatoes and broccoli
Iceburg wedge with Green Goddess dressing
Fresh blueberries for desert

Readers might recall I've been lambasting Walmart for price increases. Now we know why. Earnings miss and lowered forecast today. Was down $12 last I saw. Companies give off signals in the marketplace as to how things are going. The rapid price hikes were a visible clue.
