Brazilian restaurant.
Three little pastries made with pork, Brazilian sausage, and collard greens. They were served with avocado sauce.
We ordered a large dinner salad which was fabulously fresh with spinach, arugula, and Bibb lettuce. Also cherry tomatoes of all types (red/green, yellow, red), and sliced artichoke hearts. Red onion. This was served in a cast iron skillet. Rather odd, I thought, but I think it was because they wanted to preserve the cold for crispiness of the salad, so the skillet was chilled beforehand.
Next up was salmon for me and steak for the RG.B oth dishes had chopped yucca instead of fries. Nice touch. Also more lettuce and greens on the side.
Dessert: chocolate mousse and caramel flan. There were orchids on top, which are an edible flower. They added crunchiness to the desserts.

(22,767 posts)for the husband. I'm not eating as I've been munching off and on thru the day. Got some panettone today (yaaaa!) and some anise pizzelles to hold me until I get around to making some.
Just drinking water for the most part today.
The First Mate is making cheese raviolis with a tomato sauce topped with sliced sausage, fried onions, garlic and Parmesan cheese. I made a large salad of spring greens, chopped green peppers, shredded carrots, thin red onion rings, sliced black olives and cherry tomato halves with an Italian dressing, of course. We found a bottle of Chianti in a galley locker!
