think I will make the same; grilled cheese sounds lovely on an early dark morning looking at the snow outside.

Making Instant Pot steel-oats with cranberries and almonds. Waiting for the 10 minutes of NR, and breakfast is ready!

Since we were due to receive another round of cold weather overnight, I made sure to make extra biscuits and gravy yesterday so husband could just heat up his own this morning, which he just did after so kindly feeding the furkids and putting on a fresh pot of coffee.

Completely unrelated, I posted this in the Lounge yesterday, but wanted to also share here with everyone I spend the vast majority of my time with on this site. I also get the impression that some of us here are of a demographic and disposition to truly appreciate them.

and toasted whole wheat English muffin. One half had cream cheese spread and the other half had butter.

I am extra creaky and achy this morning and I can't figure out why.

Half a toast sammich with cream cheese, red onion, salmon, capers, lettuce. Twenty-one seed bread. Cold decaf coffee with half 'n half.

Yonnie, a couple ideas. First, a weather front coming in? Second, sugar causes inflammation. At Christmas time so many of us indulge in sugar.

Do you have anti-inflammatories around?

Hippywife, I missed that! Gonna' check 'em out.

I headed to bed early last night because it was just too cold in the computer/TV room; thought of you. As it turned out, with my oddball hours due to insomnia, I really needed a good night's sleep.

No sweetened foods are in my diet.
Weather seems stable for a while.
I can't take NSAIDS.

I was fairly sedentary yesterday, perhaps that is one reason. As I got moving today I'm feeling a bit better.

will definitely do that to me, as well. Throw in the frigid weather and it's worse.

Both my husband and I find, and the doctor has confirmed, that it's not the current weather (except for the extreme cold) that affects our joints, it's the build up of atmospheric pressure ahead of storms. But if your weather is stable for the foreseeable future, sounds like you could be right about a lack of movement yesterday. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Additionally in my own case, I know I'm going to be waking up off and on, so won't get a full night's sleep no matter what I do. Hope you were able to get one last night.
