Dessert is Thai banana fritters that I bought at Trader Joes.

(14,890 posts)I've made this several times before and it's delicious. I'm using a combination of ground chicken and ground turkey, because that's what's in the freezer. I'm thinking that should work out just fine.

(22,767 posts)because I'm tired, sore and not hungry. (Will post in a separate thread why, and it's not bc of divinity. I haven't made it yet. )
So I'm fixing him beer battered fish fillets, tater tots, hush puppies and peas. He's fine with this since it was to his benefit that I'm tired and sore. Plus it's getting cold again and I wanted to turn on the oven to add more heat to the house.
ETA: on second thought, I just threw in some tater tots for myself, and will have them with Frank's and bleu cheese dressing.

(10,137 posts)My own invention (if you don't count all the people who probably stumbled on it before because that's what they had on hand). Basically a quiche with cheddar instead of gruyere and sauteed leeks instead of onions. Added some of the Christmas ham for body and flavor.
