(261 posts)Normally, I make my chilli using sirloin steak, sort of like the cowboys did. But, tonight, we'll go with the ground chuck.
We'll accessorize with Frito's, shredded cheddar and finely minced onion...and a slice or two of pickled jalapenos!

Still good, but not quite what I wanted.
She liked it. That's good enough.

(17,441 posts)It was substituted for dry vermouth in a pickup order and I was asleep at the switch when I approved it.
I shouldn't drink it as it has a lot of sugar. TJ says the recipe calls for wine so I saw an opportunity to use it. It added a bit of flavor. I would use it again.
