(12,254 posts)We are having a Greek pie of Filo pastry filled with ground lamb, pine nuts, zucchini and spices with lemony potatoes and a tossed salad with black olives. I'm excited about this one, but then pie is my favorite!

(35,745 posts)'Cuz I'm so slow. On purpose. Hey, I want to enjoy what I'm doing. I often listen to a podcast or some "kitchen dancing" music.
I also break down my cooking tasks and do other things in between.
Your pie sounds out of this world, yellerpup!

(12,254 posts)Healthy for mind and body and it doesn't matter if you're slow. Enjoy every minute of it. I ate too much of that delicious pie! I haven't had seconds for years and years but I went back twice last night. Good news is I don't have to cook dinner tonight because we have so much left over. I don't do much kitchen dancing even though we both love dancing because my little galley kitchen doesn't have enough room to do more than shake my tush in time to the music. Have a lovely day, NJCher.

(22,165 posts)I bought the dough and sauce from Trader Joe's. I'm putting leftover pork, artichokes, sauteed mushrooms, and onions on it. And since the weather is nice, I'm cooking it on the grill.

(146,218 posts)They will include a rotisserie chicken, which we will munch on tonight. Once I see what I did and did not get off my list, I will round out the meal.

(35,745 posts)We had two kinds on toasted Portuguese bread:
--corn avocado cilantro tomato mixture. Had hot peppers in it.
--beef with potatoes.
White wine.
Both spreads were loaded with flavor 'cuz my resident culinary genius made 'em.
