What's for Dinner, Fri. Oct. 3, 2025

Crispy Black Bean Tacos with Cilantro Lime Sauce.

Corn cut off a roasting ear.

Not sure about kombucha flavor. Going out to the Farmer's Market for fruit shortly.
I'm thinking ginger or pineapple peach.

Getting fresh salad greens, too!

Dessert: Miniature chocolate ice cream cones with caramel inside.

That put me in the mood for cooking. I shredded some cabbage, chopped some onion, and fried that with some pot stickers.

I always like to have Savoy cabbage with potstickers. I just bought 2. The farmers market to which I go often has small ones, about 4” across.

Always good.

Are you feeling better? Do you know what you'll use your Savoy cabbage for?

Of stuffed cabbage rolls that I did. I was thinking about making them in the slow cooker.

I like the Savoy because it has a milder flavor.the leaves are more flexible, too.i get the small ones because they are so tender.

I just like having them around. They were delicious in my tofu tikka masala the other day.

I feel better when I get a lot of rest. Thanks for asking. 🙂

Sleep is the best doctor and laughter is the best medicine!

And other old sayings.

I'll be spending some time with my daughter soon and will probably enjoy fresh and varied vegs. They are in a farm coop where they live and pick up fresh produce every week. I'm looking forward to her cooking

The beans and ham are already done. I got up early to start them. A quick salad, some buttered toast, and dinner will be ready!

Breaded chicken cutlets served with spaghetti and marinara sauce. Mixed green salad and garlic bread. Iced tea. Yogurt and blueberries for dessert.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: chopped onion, green bell pepper, sliced cabbage, mushrooms, zucchini and minced garlic. When done I added butter beans, homemade marinara and fresh chopped oregano, basil and parsley. I mixed in cooked multigrain macaroni and after plating topped the dish with vegan parm. Cheers!🥂
