What's for Dinner, Sun., Jan.4, 2026

Salmon kabobs with green pepper, onion, cherry tomatoes. I marinated the salmon in mango sauce.

Broccoli with my favorite sauce recipe: Japanese Deep Roasted Sesame dressing.

Cherry ginger kombucha.

Dessert: Carrot cake with vanilla ice cream. I'd rather have cream cheese frosting but too lazy to make it. Decaf coffee.

None of this makes sense, but….
Shared with a courageous friend….
Two pieces of leftover quiche
One slice of leftover pepperoni pizza
Green beans with toasted cashews
Butternut squash
Green salad with tomatoes, grapes, black olives with homemade ranch dressing
Lemon water

Most likely, baked beans and broccoli on the side as it's getting close to Food Motel eviction night here, as well. 🙂

Rib recipe here, for those who lean that way. My sauce tonight is a mix of three other evictees--Blues Hog something or other (I suspect it's mostly corn syrup, and the giant plastic bottle is too damned hard to squeeze), some Stubb's spicy, and a good squeeze of TJ's Green Dragon (mostly jalapeño sauce).
