Can I roast Brussel sprouts in a little toaster oven? (Original Post)

cut em in 1/2 and maybe top em with parm /bread crumbs?
i grew a few brussels sprouts last winter. you get a bunch of sprouts per plant, and there are plenty of cabbage leaves for slaw, greens, and cabbage rolls.

Most recipes I've seen call for around 400°. If it doesn't get that hot the above suggestion to steam them first might help, but you might struggle to get the char.
