Hi all. Back from my niece and her beau's wedding weekend, movable feast.

Just an incredibly good time with some food highlights I'll add as posts. The wedding dinner, which was on-site, and the wrap up brunch the next day which was at a house my siblings and I rented. Food, music, art and a bit of performance are running themes through much of my family and the events reflected that.

And there was some tradition in it all. The bride wore white and a white gauze veil ringed with blue flowers. Her bouquet was a mix of white, golden, yellow and blue flowers. The groom wore a grey suit with a western style silver, burgundy and gold bow tie, blue lapel carnation, shiny golden lizard skin shoes.

It was held outside and there was the walk. My sister and BIL escorting my niece to the the groom and his brother standing as second and as rings bearer. And dig this - her entry song choice was something she probably first heard at 10 or 12 at home. And they thought she was sleeping...

A cake version of John Lennon's first guitar. She had cake and toppings all ready to go before hand and did the cutting and styling at the house. With the help of my brother who's meticulous at detail.
