(146,218 posts)Caesar salad for sure and I think just some antipasto type things. I have some ham, cheese, pepperoni, endives, fruit and who knows what else.
Oh, yes, and several good bottles of wine.

(32,094 posts)I was planning to make soup, but when I got around to it, I realized I had no onions. It was too late to go out and buy some. I had some leftover roasted eggplant in the refrigerator. I pulled out some chickpeas I had in the freezer, heated them up with the eggplant, and tossed them with some olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice. I should have that more often.

(2,682 posts)I made for dinner yesterday. Very simple soup - just lots of onions, carrots, celery, parsley. I had about a half a bag of lentils so I used that up. (I don't care for garlic so I didn't put any in). I'm the only one in the family who likes it so I have plenty for the rest of the week. A nice crusty french bread and REAL butter. Very tasty lunch.
